Updated look to the main site.
A Title Bar on all the hosted blogs integrate them more with the Community.
Inclusion of off-site blogs in the community and on the front page.

Feedback is always welcome. I am hoping to make Guetterman a regular stop on the internet. We are always looking for new features to add so your suggestions would be helpful.

Also if you are interested in having your own blog on guetterman.com or have one that you would like integrated (when that feature becomes active) drop us a line, by leaving a comment or emailing me directly (A contact form is being setup for people without my email.).

I'm writing this to see if people are reading the main Guetterman blog.... Of course there has never really been anything to read...

I'm currently looking at changing my personal blog software and trying to become an actual blogger, and have been trying to decided if I should do it just for my self or to all the blogs on Guetterman.

But before I do any of that lets see if people read this. If you do, Please add a comment let me know.

We are looking at a number of Hosts:

http://www.canadianwebhosting.com/ - Based in Vancover, I've had some good expirance with them but I've also heard Horrior Stories.
http://myhosting.com/- Heard Good things, no personal expirance.
http://www.dreamhost.com/ - Stumbled accross them online. They look good and have some attractive packages. Reviews I've seen seem positive.

There are others but at the moment these seem to be the front Runners...

So I'm looking for advice and recommendations on Hosts or features that might be good to look for.

Things I look for in a host, in no perticular order:

Under $10 us a month.
Databases, I want multiple databases. MySQL is alright, but would really like Postgresql.
Spam controls for email.
Linux Shell access
Good support
Sub Domains
1 gig + storage, 10 gig+ transfers

To that end we are testing a number of options to prevent it where we can or manage when it gets through.

One of our first attempts is implementing a Comment Control system that will require comments to be approved by a moderator. This could cause a delay in seeing your comments but bare with us they will be approved and posted as soon as possible.

It is the same message board the used to be online here at Guetterman.com so there are messages already presant.

I'm currently working on the skin and intergrating it into the site. When the intergration is complete and users say it's working the way they want I'll take it out of beta.
